Grown from humble beginnings, our story began with Simon Spatz who immigrated to Halifax to start a new life. He went from running a small, successful grocery market, to becoming a property owner, manager, and builder. Since 1988, Simon’s son Jim has spearheaded Southwest’s transformation to an award-winning company.
